Crosstown Parkway (I-95 to Manth Lane)


Crosstown Parkway – 2nd Segment

This segment of the new Crosstown Parkway stretches from Bayshore Boulevard to Manth Lane and was developed as a 6 lane divided sub-urban roadway with landscaping, decorative lighting and multi-use pathways. Berms up to 6’ high have been constructed wherever possible. The parkway has limited access with traffic signals at Bayshore Boulevard, Airoso Boulevard, and Sandia Drive. Crosstown Parkway Segment 2 opened to the public in September 2008.

Crosstown Parkway – 3rd Segment

This segment of the new Crosstown Parkway stretches from Cashmere Boulevard to Bayshore Boulevard and was develop as a 6 lane sub-urban roadway with landscaping decorative lighting and multi-use pathways. A new 6 lane bridge was constructed over Floridas Turnpike just south of the Port St. Lucie/Fort Pierce Service Plaza. This segment includes a new connection at Cameo Boulevard that goes north ultimately to St. Lucie West Middle School and Centennial High School. Crosstown Parkway Segment 3 opened to the public in November 2007.

Crosstown Parkway – 4th Segment

Segment 4 of the Crosstown Parkway parallels the south side of St. Lucie West and is a continuation of the 6 lane parkway section. This segment stretches from Cashmere Boulevard to the new Interchange at I-95 and includes landscaping, decorative lighting, multi-use paths, and 6’-8’ high berms. Segment 4 of the Crosstown Parkway is scheduled to be open to the public March 28, 2009.

I-95/Crosstown Parkway Interchange – 5th Segment

Segment 5 of the Crosstown Parkway is a new tight diamond Interchange at Crosstown Parkway and Interstate 95 and includes Florida Department of Transportation Bridge Deck replacement on I-95. The project also includes the roadway extension to Commerce Center Drive. Segment 5 of Crosstown Parkway is scheduled to be open to the public March 28, 2009.
